I kind of feel better now after venting like that.
On a happier note, I do like the way that AG has put Lissie's Rose Gown back online (even though it's missing the necklace and mob cap) and the way they've combined her summer outfit into one price. Makes it much cheaper now. And how they added the shoes to her Christmas gown. Plus they took all new pictures for Lissie's outfits, and I like the look of them (her shool outfit's mob cap makes her head look super HUGE, though...hehe) I like all of E's new stuff, and how you can buy the bedding separately for both girls. Although, if you buy E's bedding with the bed, it's more expensive than Lissie's bedding plus bed.
I really like a couple of the new AGT items too. I LOVE the new doll with black hair, sorry I can't remember her #. She is now the doll that looks the most like me, especially if they had made her with hazel eyes! I kind of think I want her now, but I'm going to wait and see what the next intro outfit is. There's a new sweatsuit outfit that's really cute, and I like the gala outfit and the new star pj's.
So, AG if you're there and listening (or reading), I really love where the company is going and how you are helping little girls' (and big girls) learn about history and themselves in a fun way. Overall, keep up the good work! But, it would be WONDERFUL if we could have several months notice on retirements or limited quantities so that we can get the products we love before they're gone for good.

Judi, where did you hear that? Im just curious because I talked to people at the catalogue AND both stores and they all said the same thing: That the new tea set was replacing the chocalate set. When I asked if they were revising it to bring it back they each said no. I know that we shouldnt always trust what we hear, but to me hearing it from all three made it sound pretty for sure. Especially since I specificaly asked if it would come back. They all used that dreaded word; "RETIRED"
Edited to add: While we are on the subject, the woman at the catalogue was very nice and also seemed sorry to say that the chocalate set was retiring but gladly gave me the numbers for both stores. Now I have never called the stores before or even gone to one of them, but I have to say I was not impressed at all. Both of them, but espcially the New York gal, were very short and cut me off. I dont expect them to start chatting me up for my life story, but they were rude and very slam-bam-thank-you-m'am and didnt really make me want to go to the either AGP

No, Im sorry but unfortunately they dont. I called both of them the day I tried to order it from AG over the phone. Someone on here said that they believe they are revising that set along with the party treats. But it will probably come out like the new tea set has which is meant more for play. I would just check ebay in the meantime. The prices right now might not be too bad if you can find it, but they will certainly go up around Christmas. Sorry

The point of not drinking tea was not soley a bocott on english goods but also a slap in the face. By buying chocolate this would strengthen french trade, in short giving more money back to france... Which was the underlying cause of the rise in taxes (French and Indian War) King George would be having kittens having to watch the french rake in a profit.
As for having a chocolate pot, no not all colonial families would have one... infact english china would be more expensive than the chocolate pots, as china was imported. I'm sure felicity's pot would have been casted in silver, a trade found right at home... and would arise no suspicion especially with the heavy taxes on british and foriegn goods. Less of two evils.
And now you've had your history lesson.

Sorry to bump this up again, but could someone maybe tell me if either of the AGP's have the missing Felicity items in the stores? If someone replied in a different thread, I apologize, I wasn't sure where to look. TIA for your help!
